The Moreno Valley Police Department Invites Residents to National Night Out 2017

Moreno Valley California

Moreno Valley, CA — Residents throughout the city of Moreno Valley are invited to join in with the thousands of communities nationwide for the 33rd Annual National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017.  The event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.  “Crime prevention is a community effort and getting to know your neighbors is a great place to start” said Moreno Valley Police Chief Joel Ontiveros.

The following event locations are open to the public:

  • Il Sorrento Mobile Home Park, 23820 Ironwood Avenue – 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
