National foundation expands to raise financial awareness on the West Coast

Darren Vilardo named West Coast director for the Foundation for Financial Education

Inland Empire, Calif. – Independent financial advisor and radio personality Darren Vilardo has partnered with the Foundation for Financial Education to respond to the urgent need to spread financial literacy to communities throughout the West Coast.

Vilardo, who is president of Rancho Cucamonga-based Inland Retirement Advisors and host of “Money Talks” on Astor Broadcast’s AM 1510 and AM 1450, has been named director of west coast operations for the national nonprofit foundation also known as F3E, whose goal is to spread financial literacy by bring educational resources directly to the public.

“By leading the F3E effort on the West Coast, I can put my expertise to work and help people in local communities better understand the financial world and how to navigate it,” said Vilardo.

As an F3E partner and presenter, Vilardo will offer educational workshops to community groups, businesses, churches, educational institutions, municipalities and other organizations throughout the region at no cost. Workshop topics can include basic financial planning and mapping, retirement planning, estate planning, wealth management, financial pitfalls, real estate opportunities, key investment strategies and issues, college planning strategies, tax planning, IRA and 401K rollovers, credit restoration and federal benefits.
