New Board President Elected for Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire

Wallace Brithinee to Return to the Helm of Industrial Professional Organization for Inland Southern California 

Inland Empire, CA – March 22, 2023: The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire is pleased to announce the election of Wallace Brithinee Ph.D. as President of the non-profit’s Board of Directors.  

“The last several years have been a challenge for the industry and the country, but the future is bright for the manufacturers of our region, and the future is bright for the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire,” Brithinee said. 

Brithinee is an industry leader in the manufacturing space of the US Southwest, having formerly served as President of Brithinee Electric, a company which he founded with his brother and parents in the Inland Empire. He is a published author in multiple industry journals, and a former Chairman of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), an international trade association comprised of over 2,600 member firms globally. Brithinee earned his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees from the University of California, Riverside and is presently on the Dean’s Council of Advisors for the Bourns School of Engineering at UCR.

The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) is the voice of regional manufacturers, supporting education and career training, offering programming and expertise for a variety of topics of interest to manufacturers. The council works to change the image of the industry, with students, their parents, and the community at large, to let them know there are excellent careers available in advanced manufacturing.
