RIVERSIDE, CA – The CareMore Care Center— a new concept in senior health care–will hold its grand opening on Friday, December 17 at 10 a.m. The public is invited to tour the new center located at 2190 Market Street, in Riverside.
Since its expansion into Riverside, CareMore Health Plan has created jobs in the area and will be employing active seniors through their ‘Believer Program’.
The program has hired hundreds of seniors, over the age of 65, to work part-time to assist customer service and sales departments with a variety of tasks. Believers also provide information on prevention, wellness and local resources at care centers and health fairs.
“The CareMore Care Center is a breakthrough model of care that combines wellness and medical supervision,” says Leeba Lessin, president of CareMore Health Plan. “Our center will offer personalized health planning that ensures that local residents receive the individualized attention they deserve.”
CareMore staff and area residents will kick off the festivities with a dedication ribbon cutting and refreshments. Area seniors and Riverside residents are also invited to the open house and take tours of the facility and meet former Dodger great, Ron Cey, CareMore’s honored guest.
The Riverside CareMore Care Center will offer services such as podiatry, diabetic education and management, fall prevention, blood pressure monitoring, and more, all in one location. The services offered will provide greater access to key preventive health services, particularly to those seniors who are at risk of chronic conditions such as Diabetes and Emphysema.
