Big Bear – Given you appreciate being around wildlife plus working with people who feel the same, then become a docent with the Friends of the Moonridge Zoo.

The Friends of the Moonridge Zoo are expanding their docent educational program and are now offering monthly one day comprehensive workshops, where you can become a docent and help support the Moonridge Animal Park.

The first workshop will be held 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday August 27, 2011.  Call 909 878-4200 to reserve your space or for more details.  Other scheduled one day workshops will be held September 24, October 22, November 19, and on December 17th.

If a Saturday workshop does not work for you, what day does?  Call us.

The Friends of the Moonridge Zoo was formed in 1989 as a non-profit public benefit corporation whose purpose is to support the Moonridge Animal Park through: (1) Educating the public regarding treatment, protection, and conservation of wildlife; (2) Recruiting and coordinating zoo volunteers; and (3) Fundraising.
