Nominations Sought: Women Business Leaders in the Inland Empire

Inland Empire, Calif. – The National Association of Women Business Owners, Inland Empire Chapter (NAWBO-IE) is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Amazing Women Event (AWE) that honors outstanding women entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Inland Empire.

Now in its 11th year, NAWBO’s AWE (Amazing Women Event) awards program is the top event for women business leaders in the Inland Empire. The event will be held April 17th 2014 at the Eagle Glen Golf Course in Corona.

Nominations are requested for the following categories:

Business Woman of the Year — This coveted award goes to a woman who has demonstrated creative initiative in her business to grow the business, to create jobs for others, to overcome obstacles, and to help her community

Legacy Award —This is a woman who has been in business for more than 10 years. She has achieved a truly amazing goal and because of that is leaving behind an incredible legacy that will impact her community for years to come

Rising Star — This woman has been in business five (5) years or less and has demonstrated a clear track record of success

Corporate Entrepreneur — This woman, though she is not the owner or founder of the companyis a high level corporate executive responsible for driving the vision of a company and leading a team

Community Bridge Builder Award — This woman is deeply committed to her community and demonstrates an amazing passion for her particular cause.  Nominees must be a Founder or Executive Director of a non-profit

All nominees must reside in and/or have a business with headquarters in Riverside or San Bernardino Counties.  Nominations will be accepted until December 15th, 2013.
