One-Woman “Marie Curie” Continues It’s World Premiere Tour

ONE-WOMAN ‘MARIE CURIE’ CONTINUES ITS WORLD PREMIERE TOUR

Seventh Street Theatre is the next stop for “Marie Curie: Rogue Scientist,” a new one-woman play by local playwright Gabriel Morales, playing March 30 through April 1.

Starring award-winning actress Rebecca Lynn Morales, “Marie” is powerful dramatic presentation chronicling the life of famed physicist Madame Marie Sklodowska-Curie, pioneer of radioactivity research, discoverer of radium and polonium, and the first female Nobel Laureate.

Spend an evening with the specter of Madame Curie as she recounts the trials and successes of her life—from her childhood in Russian-occupied Poland and higher education in Paris, to her Nobel Prize wins, public scandal, WWI exploits, and eventual death from radiation exposure. Full of wit and verve, passion and wisdom, Curie achieved her heart’s greatest desire: “to be something,” to make indelible impression on the scientific community and world at large.

This is special fundraising event for Chino Community Theatre and Kristie’s Foundation for terminally ill children.

“Marie Curie: Rogue Scientist” will be performed at Seventh Street Theatre on March 30 at 8 p.m., March 31 at 8 p.m., and April 1 at 2:30 p.m.

Location: Seventh Street Theatre. 13123 7th St., Chino CA 91710

Tickets: $15 general admission; $10 senior, child, faculty, student, military, group (10+)
