Ontario City Library Hosts Teen Book Fest

On Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9 AM the Ontario City Library will host Teen Book Fest 2013.  Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 15 of today’s best young adult authors and attend up to four sessions throughout the day.  The event will kick off with a moderated discussion with Stephen Chbosky, bestselling author of The Perks of Being a WallflowerThe Perks of Being a Wallflower, was recently made into a major motion picture starring Emma Watson, has won numerous young adult awards and is widely regarded as a classic in the Young Adult Literature canon.

Also appearing are Jessica Brody, Morgan Matson, Ann Stampler, Gretchen McNeil, Suzanne Lazear, Jennifer Bosworth, Carrie Arcos, Sara Wilson Etienne, Leigh Bardugo, Gregg Olsen, Andrew Smith, Marie Lu and Lex Thomas.  A book signing will take place at 3 PM.  Books will be available for purchase through Mrs. Nelsons Toy & Book Shop and the Friends of the Ontario City Library.

The event will take place at the Merton E. Hill Auditorium on the Chaffey High School campus at 211 West 5th Street.  Doors open at 8:30 AM.  This program is free to all ages although tickets are required for admittance.  To reserve your tickets today call the Ontario City Library at (909) 395–2225
