ONTARIO: Library Invites You To Recharge Your Learning

ONTARIO LIBRARY INVITES YOU TO RECHARGE YOUR LEARNING

Starting August 1, 2012, the Ontario City Library will add over seven hundred adult, teen and children’s bestselling and popular titles to its growing collection of digital books through a subscription from the 3M Corporation.  eBooks offered through 3M Cloud library will complement the already popular OverDrive service that the library has offered the public for over five years. The 3M cloud delivery system will provide a simpler “one-click” download process for tablet, SmartPhone, Nook, Kobo, Sony and Android devices.  Other handy features of the 3M cloud will be the ability to “reserve” titles just like regular library books, and there are no fines or fees for books that are overdue!  Visit the Ovitt Family Community and Colony Branch libraries on Wednesday, August 1st, to sample the new service.  Library staff will be available to assist anyone who needs eBook help, and the library will be raffling a Nook reader to eBook customers who visit either library facility on that day.  Location: Ovitt Family Community Library, 215 East C St. downtown Ontario (909-395-2212) and Colony Branch Library, 3850 E. Riverside Dr, Ontario (909-395-2256).
