PhD Labs, headquartered in Ontario, California,is a premier service provider for social media, mobile, and web development solutions.
PhD Labs began as a PhD Computing and specialized in Web site development, said Robert Patrick, PhD Labs’ founder and chief architect. In early June, PhD Computing acquired Organic Sales, a Chino Hills based company that specialized in social media and mobile applications.
The result of that transaction is PhD Labs, one of the few businesses in the Inland region that specializes in Social, Mobile, and Web applications. “That’s the digital trinity of this decade,” says Patrick, who started PhD Computing in the late 1990s as a Web site development and hosting business. “We needed to expand our social media offering to compliment our web and mobile app development services, so I went looking for the best local group I could find in that space, which led me to Organic Sales. They complimented our expertise, creativity and culture very well, so it was a natural fit.”
John Driscoll, who founded Organic Sales, said he uses social media to drive traffic to Web sites to increase their sales. The Internet, he said, is entering a new era. “The Internet used to be just about websites, now through Social media and mobile applications, it’s a part of everything you do in daily life,” Driscoll said. Driscoll said he started Organic Sales because he sensed that social networking would change the face of digital communication.
Patrick said he will apply the same successful approach to PhD Labs that he did to his first company: provide an exceptional experience through high-quality service and high-touch client interaction to achieve our clients business goals.
