Open Mic Night – Fontana

Teens to be Heard through Singing, Poetry and Spoken Word

Fontana, California, October 31, 2011 – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to come listen to the original works of creative writing, poetry, short stories, singing and more as teens express themselves at the Open Mic Night sponsored by the Art Depot Gallery, Jack Bulik Teen Center and the Fontana Arts Program.

Open Mic Night will take place on November 4th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium, located at 8347 Sierra Avenue. Teens will take their artistic self-expression to another level through singing, poetry and spoken word. Participants must be between the ages of 12 and 18 and perform original work, appropriate for all ages.

Pre-registration is required for Open Mic Night and teens interested in performing  should sign up at Art Depot Gallery, Teen Center or call (909) 349-6975 for more information.
