COACHELLA VALLEY WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER PRESENTS THREE PART SOCIAL MEDIA SERIES WITH BRIAN ROULEY

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center, a grant-funded program of the U.S. Small Business Administration that provides free business counseling, free and low-cost workshops and events, and mentoring will present a series on social media beginning Tuesday, June 12.

This series will take place at the CVWBC office at 77806 Flora Road, Suite A, just off the 10 freeway in Palm Desert. The cost for the series is $40 with online registration; $15 for each individual workshop.

In part one of the series, “Deriving Value from Social Media”, participants will learn how to create a compelling Facebook presence, tie their Facebook page to their blog or website, reach out to people with invitations, and make more offers that will result in more “Likes”.

Part two of the series will cover how to blog, part three will deal with Twitter and HootSuite. The series is designed to tie all elements together to give participants a social media presence that has continuity and flow.

Facilitator Brian Rouley, Vice President of Operations of Rouzell Enterprises, Inc. has worked in corporations as large as Lockheed Martin before starting his own company.
