Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite parents to enjoy a “Parent’s Night Out” on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Courtesy of the Heritage Neighborhood Center, this event gives parents the opportunity to enjoy a child-free evening.
Pre-Registration is required and is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis from April 1 through April 22. Parents will drop their children off any time after 4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Neighborhood Center located at 7350 West Liberty Parkway for up to six hours. All children must be picked up by 10:00 p.m.
While parents enjoy a night out, children will enjoy arts and crafts, games and fun in a safe and supervised environment. The cost per child is $3.00 an hour and children must stay for a minimum of two hours.
“Parent’s Night Out is designed to provide parents with a fun and safe environment to drop their children off while they enjoy a private evening together. Parents deserve to treat themselves, and Parent’s Night Out provides that perfect opportunity,” Community Services Coordinator Damien Terrones said.
