Pastors and Deacons Prepare, Churches Begin Four Wall Exit To Impact Youth

Moreno Valley, CA.  When elected officials want to reach the black community, they turn to the black church.  When government organizations want to reach the black community, they turn to the church.  When the black community is in a time of need, they turn to the black church.

But, who do young black males turn to when they need to navigate dropout, poverty, violence, homelessness, fatherlessness, unemployment, mental health and incarceration?

On July 21, 2012, Pastor James Baylark, Good Hope MBC, is calling on Deacons throughout the Southland to address the devastating crisis facing today’s young black males.

Having chosen the theme  “The Streets Are Calling” Baylark stated, “The time is now for the church to push beyond the comfort of its four walls and deal both spiritually and practically in saving young black males.”
