“This is a great way for kids to learn a little bit about the science of entrepreneurship as they become ‘store owners’ for a morning,” said Pat Comerchero, President of the non-profit Friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum. “The fun part is when they actually make sales and see how getting rid of something old may help them to purchase something new!”
Although all are welcome to peruse and buy the items, only kids will be able to set up tables and sell… with parent supervision. Children will be “renting” parking spaces to set up their wares.
Pennypickle’s Workshop, the Temecula Children’s Museum, is an award winning science themed facility located at 42081 Main Street in Old Town Temecula.
