Photography Workshop: Family Memories

On Saturday, September 18, the San Bernardino County Museum will hold the fourth in a series of “Photography Made Simple” workshop at 1pm and 3pm. Led by artist Terry Long, these drop-in Arts Naturally workshops, included with paid museum admission, are sponsored by the James Irvine Foundation.

This workshop will focus on family memories. Long will facilitate composing photos of family vacations and events, with the goal of recording personal and family history and memories. Turn your everyday photos into primary source records of your family and the community. All photo equipment types can be used (including your cell phone).

“Photography Made Simple” workshops offer basic skills and a relaxed environment for building photographic techniques. Artist Terry Long leads participants in finding affordable resources, and in using lighting, composition, and camera technology to improve their personal photos.

The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9am to 5pm. Admission is $8 (adult), $6 (military or senior), $5 (student) and $4 (child aged 5 to 12).
