Donna is an elder law attorney and an adjunct professor of elder law, health care and medical ethics at several universities in the Bay Area. She has lead workshops at statewide meetings and serves as a Resident Board member of Aging Services.
Donna and her husband Tom Ambrogi have been residents of Pilgrim Place since 1996.
Aging Services of California represents more than 400 nonprofit providers of senior living and care. The agency’s goal is to be a leading advocate in the state for quality senior living and care, and to help develop progressive and innovative strategies for Californians to age well into the future.
Pilgrim Place was founded in 1915. It is a community for individuals who have been called to careers in religious and charitable non-profit organizations. Approximately 320 retired Christian missionaries, clergy and non-profit professionals live on the 32-acre campus. Emblematic of the residents at Pilgrim Place is continued activism and outreach to others.
