Chino, CA – Join us for the Planes of Fame Air Show May 5-6 at the Chino Airport as we celebrate and honor the history, contributions, and sacrifices of our Veterans and Aviation Pioneers.
This year’s air show will feature over 50 historic aircraft, including The A-10 Warthog, P-47 Thunderbolts, P-38 Lightnings and P-51 Mustangs flying for your enjoyment.
Gates open at 8 am for up close viewing of the aircraft that will be flying during the air show.
Don’t miss the panel discussions starting at 9:30 am with WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War Veterans and over 20 more honored Veterans in attendance.
The Opening Ceremony begins at 10:40 am with welcome remarks by San Bernardino County 4th District Supervisor Curt Hagman. The Navy Sea Cadet Color Guard Paul Revere division will Present the Colors and the National Anthem will be performed by local favorite Tina Hargett!
Performers include: A-10 Thunderbolt Demo Team and Heritage Flight; Sean D. Tucker Team Oracle Aerobatics; World’s fastest piston engine aircraft P-51 Mustang Voodoo; N9MB Flying Wing Demo; Pacific, European, Korean & Vietnam Flight Displays, Paratroopers, Gregory ‘Wired’ Colyer T-33 Aerobatics and Rob Harrison the Tumbling Bear.
Visit the Military Vehicle Display Area that will include a Sherman Tank and re-enactors so real that you will think you have actually been transported back in time!
FREE ADMISSION for Kids 11 years and under! There will be a ‘Kids Zone’, and plenty of Food, Drinks and Vendors!
The Planes of Fame Air Show is voted one of the ‘10 Best Air Shows in the World’ and has brought aviation history to life for tens of thousands of visitors at Chino Airport over the last 25 years.

Each year Planes of Fame Air Museum employees and volunteers work with over 200 entities to make the Annual Planes of Fame Air Show a wonderful experience for the spectators, raise public awareness of the airport and its businesses, and provide a boost to our local economy.
