Pop-a-Balloonza A fun ‘popportunity’ for one-and-all!

Pop A Balloonza

Riverside, CA —The Riverside Art Museum (RAM) proudly presents Pop-a-Balloonza, happening Friday, August 16, 2019, 5 p.m.–8 p.m. This fun popportunity to watch professional balloon artists paired with amateur teams as they compete to create large-scale balloon art sculptures is presented by Monty’s Good Burger.

As the teams puff, pinch, and sculpt with their balloon artist pro, you’ll get to create art of your own while enjoying music, food, a no-host bar, and participate in a fantastic raffle! Come see who wins and have a say yourself as there’ll be a People’s Choice awarded as well! Tickets are only $20.

Want to enter your own team in this competition? Visit www.riversideartmuseum.org/balloonza to learn more about our Team Building Sponsorship! “If you’re interested in fostering a creative, collaborative culture at your company that encourages employee cooperation, a team sponsorship might be right for you,” says Valerie Found, RAM Director of Community & Resource Development. “Plus, family and friends can join the Pop-a-Balloonza party to cheer on their favorite teams and partake in some inspired fun of their own.”

Monty’s Good Burger entered a team into the Pop-a-Balloonza competition. “Monty’s is so excited to be a part of Riverside’s amazing culture,” says Nic Adler, Monty’s Good Burger co-founder, “especially the art community! Art, collaboration, and team work are all incredibly important to our staff and we look forward to participating.”

We’re also still looking for prize sponsors who’ll get to judge the contest!

What goes up, must get POPPED! Join us for a champagne (or sparkling cider) toast and balloon-popping extravaganza (ear plugs optional) during our Poppin’ Party on Sunday, August 18, 4 p.m.–5 p.m.! Tickets are $5.

“We are so grateful for our sponsors for supporting our creative out-of-the-box fundraiser,” says Drew Oberjuerge, RAM Executive Director. “We hope the community will come and support RAM while enjoying the creative process—even balloons can be used to create amazing works of art.”

The Riverside Art Museum integrates art into the lives of people in a way that engages, inspires, and builds community by providing high quality exhibits and art education programs that instill a lifelong love of the arts. RAM relies on the generosity of members and donors to support its exhibitions, education programs, and special events. A 60-plus-year-old, non-profit cultural arts institution housed in a National Historic 1929 building designed by Hearst Castle and AIA Gold Medal-winning architect Julia Morgan, the museum welcomes over 50,000 visitors a year. The museum is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and Sunday, noon–4:00 p.m. For information on exhibits, events, classes, memberships, or sponsorship opportunities, visit www.RiversideArtMuseum.org.
