Presentation about Museum Association trip to Costa Rica

A presentation about the upcoming trip to Costa Rica hosted by the San Bernardino County Museum Association is scheduled at the museum for Thursday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. The program, open to the public at no charge, will be presented by Brandon Cole, district sales manager for Collette Vacation. The trip is scheduled for October 12 through 20, 2013. Reservations are now being accepted for the nine-day adventure; guests who book before May 3, 2013 will save $100 per person.

Highlights of the trip to tropical Costa Rica include arrival in San Jose, the colorful capital city of Costa Rica, and trips to the Doka Cofee Estate, Tamarindo Beach, the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Selvatura Park, a cruise on Lake Arenal, a two-night stay in Avenal overlooking the Arenal Volcano, and a guided river tour in a panga (covered canoe) through the remote Cano Negro nature preserve.
