Presentation focuses on changes to Medi-Cal

Ramsey: Changes affect seniors, baby boomers, healthcare providers

RIVERSIDE, Calif.  — Lisa Ramsey, founder and owner of Medi-Cal Consulting Services, a company that assists families dealing with long-term medical needs, is scheduled to give a presentation on changes coming to Medi-Cal. at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, at Mountain View Centers located at 715 W. Baseline, Claremont. Mountain Views Centers is an assisted living center serving seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Ramsey’s presentation will focus on how changes to Medi-Cal will affect seniors, baby boomers and healthcare providers.  As a former Medi-Cal worker, Ramsey has many years of experience navigating through the process. She is also an advocate for the aging and well versed in senior care.  She has also conducted training sessions with professionals in the long-term medical care and senior care industries.

“Medi-Cal is a very complex system,” Ramsey said. “The goal of my presentation is to explain it well enough for the average person to understand and see how the changes affect them.”
