Procurement Expo for Small Businesses on April 20, 2012
Assemblymember Wilmer Amina Carter
Small and diverse business owners and entrepreneurs in the Inland Empire will have the opportunity to learn how to do business with government agencies from 8 a.m to 1:30 p.m. April 20 at the San Bernardino Hilton, 285 E. Hospitality Lane.

Participants at the free Inland Empire Small Business Spring Procurement Expo can connect directly with procurement officers and decision makers from utility, federal, state, and local government agencies. Expo sponsors are Assemblymember Wilmer Amina Carter, D-62, Rialto, ADF Networking Consultancy, Inc. and the California Public Utilities Commission.

As a small business owner and lawmaker, Assemblymember Carter has been proactive in presenting procurement programs while serving in the California State Assembly. “The expos stimulate the local economy by providing increased government contracting opportunities to Inland Empire businesses,” Carter said.

California State Senator Curren D. Price Jr, Chair of the Select Committee on Procurement, will give the keynote address. RSVP early to secure a business matchmaking appointment. Contact Sheila Futch at Assemblymember Carter’s District Office (909) 820-5008, or email sheila.futch@asm.ca.gov.
