Prologis Americas CEO headlines NAIOP-IE Mid-Year Market Review

Top market forecast shines light on national and regional industry indicators

INLAND EMPIRE, Calif. – On July 18, NAIOP Inland Empire’s 2013 Mid-Year Market Review will offer inland business professionals an in-depth analysis of macro- and microeconomic indicators defining present and future commercial real estate activities.

As keynote speaker, Prologis CEO of The Americas Gene F. Reilly will share his impressions of current U.S. market challenges and opportunities. Leading the largest industrial development company in the nation, Reilly’s observations of current market conditions will help illustrate the market’s path to recovery from a year ago, and where it might be a year from now.

“We remain bullish about the Inland Empire as one of the earliest submarkets in the US to recover from the economic downtown three years ago,” said Reilly.

Following the keynote, a panel of local experts representing key commercial markets will provide a snapshot of development and leasing activity from the High Desert to the border of North County. They will highlight areas of possible growth, emerging priorities, market shifts and declines, and obstacles to overcome. Moderated by Graham Tingler, president of the Space Center’s Western Region, the panel includes:

“The commercial real estate capital markets are experiencing the most volatility since August of 2011,” said Longo. “We expect a lively and active discussion on the capital markets in conjunction with the latest developments in International trade and job growth and their effects on the commercial markets in the Inland Empire.”
