Random Act of Kindness is an event hosted by Music Changing Lives, (MCL) where staff and volunteers of MCL for the past three years have gone into communities that are severely impoverished throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and distribute toys and gifts to children and families on Christmas Eve. Last year we distributed gifts to more than 500 children, this year our goal is to bring the joy of Christmas to more than 1000 children in need.
‘Tis the Season of Giving’ and Music Changing Lives is in need of Santa’s Helpers to contribute toys or gifts to underprivileged children, whose families cannot afford to provide them with holiday gifts. We are also seeking five volunteers to lend a hand and help deliver the gifts to the children on Christmas Eve.
Random Act of Kindness will take place on December 24, 2011 with toy deliveries beginning at 9am and ending by 3pm. We will kick off our efforts in Moreno Valley, and from there travel to San Bernardino, Rialto and lastly Fontana to brighten the lives of children in some of the poorest and roughest communities throughout the County.
