ONTARIO, Calif.-The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced their 5th Annual Go Green/Teacher Appreciation Night, brought to you by the University of La Verne to benefit the University’s Scholarship Foundation. This game will be on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Citizens Business Bank Arena at 6:00 p.m. against the Alaska Aces. Also, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Blaze the Dragon coin bank.
The Reign players will be wearing specialty green jerseys during the game, which will be auctioned off in a live auction immediately following the game to benefit the University of La Verne’s Scholarship Foundation.
Smart Solar Power will be outside of the arena with a large solar display and professionals to answer all your questions about how you can save money on your energy bill. They will also have a table inside the arena with more information and fans will have the opportunity to win an autographed, game-worn jersey if they guess the exact number of M&M’s in the jar; so be sure to stop by their table and submit your guess. Everyone will have the opportunity to get their Blaze the Dragon autograph during the second intermission at the Smart Solar Power table.
Bring your empty aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles to the game, as McCoy Recycling will be set up in the parking lot prior to the game to collect all of your recyclables. McCoy will donate their proceeds for this day to the University of La Verne’s Scholarship Foundation.
