The city of Beaumont’s hometown Summer Concert Series 2011 promises to rock the house, or in this case, the great outdoors. Whatever your taste in rock ‘n’ roll, the city has lined up hit makers who will bring good times and legendary music to Stewart Park.

The city of Beaumont’s 5th annual Summer Concert Series is free to all. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. on the grass Stewart Park, located at Ninth and Orange streets.

Fans Galore

Each summer, fans eagerly await our local music festival. For many, it’s a great opportunity to see the musical acts they grew up with and loved so much. It also gives moms and dads a chance to introduce their favorite music to their kids.

Some diehard fans begin staking out their spots at 7 a.m. on the day of a concert, setting out blankets, coolers and maybe an EZ Up Canopy tent. They’ll have a friend or family member take turns watching their spot in the morning and then return in the afternoon for sound checks and the chance to meet recording legends and score autographs.
