RIVERSIDE: Fox Performing Arts Theatre to Screen Humphrey Bogart Classics

Every Friday from now until August 17 we will be screening a Humphrey Bogart classic selected from the Warner Bros archive. These movies are Bogart at his best, with co-stars such as Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Mary Astor, Edward G. Robinson and more.
Humphrey Bogart is ranked #1 on the American Film Institute’s list of Greatest Screen Actors and was voted The Greatest Movie Star of All Time by Entertainment Weekly.

Friday, July 13, 7:30 p.m.: Casablanca (1942)

The film that is #1 on the American Film Festival list of Top 100 Love Stories and #32 on the list of 100 Most Inspiring Movies of All Time

Stars: Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Hans Conreid.

Set in unoccupied Africa during the early days of World War II. An American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications.

A man visits his old friend’s hotel and finds a gangster running things. As a hurricane approaches, the two end up confronting each other. This film was the last in which Bogart and Bacall appeared together.
