RIVERSIDE: Fox Performing Arts Center Introduces The Subscription Packages For The Fabulous Forthcoming Broadway Series of Shows

Thank you for making the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside the Top Arts Theater in the region.  We want to introduce you to the Subscription Packages for the fabulous forthcoming 2012/2013 Broadway Series of Shows that have been announced — with Top Broadway National Tours setting their sights on the Fox Riverside.

We are thrilled to present these National Touring productions to bring the very Best of Broadway to the Inland Empire. We’re sure you will enjoy the exciting series of theatrical titles.

A CHORUS LINE – Friday and Saturday, November 16 & 17 – 8:00 PM

The Singular Sensation – a musical set on a Broadway stage, about Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line was the Winner of 9 Tony Awards in addition to the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is the 5th longest running show in the history of Broadway with music composed by Marvin Hamlisch. The show has enjoyed many successful productions worldwide and was revived on Broadway in 2006. The highly-acclaimed national tour will be performing at the Fox this November!

DREAMGIRLS – Thursday, January 10, 2013 – 7:30 PM

This dazzling musical was nominated for thirteen Tony Awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical and won six. It was later adapted into a motion picture from DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures, winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and two Oscars at the 79th Academy Awards. This film marked the debut of Grammy award winning singer and American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson as an actress!

NUNSET BOULEVARD – Saturday, January 26 – 8:00 PM

The show will star beloved TV Icon CINDY WILLIAMS of “Laverne and Shirley” fame as she embarks on a Multi-City National Tour in the 2012/2013 season! The Little Sisters of Hoboken have gone Hollywood in the highly anticipated, latest installment of the international smash-hit Nunsense franchise: Nunset Boulevard: The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show. Nunset Boulevard Star Cindy Williams previously played Mother Superior in the wildly successful Meadow BrookTheatre presentation of the original Nunsense!

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF – Thursday, March 28 – 7:30 PM

The Tony Award® winning musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world with its universal appeal embarks on its 2012/2013 North American Tour. Fiddler is Broadway’s fifteenth longest-running show in history. The highly acclaimed musical was nominated for ten Tony Awards, winning nine, including Best Musical, score, book, direction and choreography. It spawned four Broadway revivals, a successful film adaptation, and the show has enjoyed enduring international popularity.

ELVIS LIVES – Friday, May 10 – 8:00 PM

The show is a pulse-racing, multi-media, musical journey across Elvis’s Life, featuring film of some of Elvis’s most memorable Live Performances in addition to featuring the finalists from the WORLDWIDE ULTIMATE ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTIST CONTEST. Four memorable eras with performances by the fabulous Elvis Contest Winners, all co-marketed by FX Arts and Elvis Presley Enterprises in association with On Stage Touring.
