RIVERSIDE, CA: Golf tournaments are the most common and popular event the majority of non-profit organizations host on an annual basis. Since these money-making events are so crucial to an organization’s ability to continue their work, it is vital that they get people on the green. “Golfer’s Corner,” a new section on the SoCal CEO Business Magazine website, highlights upcoming charitable golf tournaments in the region. The segment serves as a way for organizations to advertise their tournament to over 6,500 local business leaders as well as 100,000 newsfeed subscribers. Organizations can also offer the video press release as a sponsorship position to potential company sponsors.

Dwight Cromie the Publisher of Southern California CEO magazine stated that he believes that “the Inland Empire there is a need to do a better job of promoting the activities of non-profit organizations”. One of Southern California CEO’s missions is to help businesses and non-profits organizations tell their stories in a much more effective manner and to deliver those stories to a local, regional, audience.

The organizations that comprise the nonprofit industry of the Inland Southern California region have enormous potential to be a model for social and economic development, not just for the state, but nation as well. Cromie when on to say “the reality is that the non-profit organizations within this region receive a disproportionately low amount of philanthropic dollars when compared with the rest of the country. To change this leaders need to be delivering the most effective branding message possible to the largest audience possible”.

The bottom line is that in order to support the region’s nonprofit organizations and the economy of Inland Southern California region, a much better job of not only delivering our branding message, but targeting the largest audience possible must be accomplished. SoCal CEO Business Magazine is providing the services, knowledge, and expertise to do just that. Golfer’s Corner is just one of many ways SoCal CEO Business Magazine is seeking to help further the missions of local non-profit organizations and improve the overall quality of life of those living, working and playing in the Inland Empire.
