RIVERSIDE: VNA California Reflects Growing Impact of Home Health Services New Name. New Look. Renewed Spirit.

Riverside, CA – VNA California is poised and ready to fulfill a growing need as health care continues to evolve and shift in response to new and upcoming regulations.

VNA-IC is now VNA California. Formerly known as The Visiting Nurse Association of the Inland Counties (VNA-IC), VNA California is a leading provider of in-home skilled nursing, rehabilitative and hospice care in Southern California. While known for its quality of care and passion and dedication to patients, the non-profit agency also commits significant resources to Community Outreach that proactively address local health care needs, education, and charity care, an integral part of their service delivery.

To reinforce this ongoing commitment to patients and residents, the organization recently updated its brand image, and even its name. Founded in 1931, VNA California’s service areas currently span Riverside, San Bernardino and North San Diego counties, covering over 22,000 square miles. As the need increases for professional, in-home nursing and medical services, VNA California will continue to expand. According to Mike Rusnak, CEO, “VNA California reflects our broad scope of services and emphasizes our mandate to serve wherever we are needed.”

VNA California’s core services and commitment to quality and best practices will remain. But Rusnak said that “the new name, visual branding and targeted messaging provide a fresh platform for sharing who we are, what we do, how we do it, and what distinguishes us to a broad and diverse audience.” The brand articulates VNA California’s key programs and service initiatives: HOME HEALTH. HOSPICE. OUTREACH.

VNA California presents a unified brand voice to all audiences. A strong brand is more than a name, logo, and color palette. It is also the “voice” of VNA California. Rusnak said, “Our brand voice is how we communicate with patients, physicians, donors, volunteers, and the general public. We are more than health care professionals. We are your neighbors, living and working right here in the community.”
Along with its new name and brand, the organization has renewed its commitment to reach more people in the community and strengthen ties with other non-profit organizations. The goal is to make a bigger impact on the lives of the public, medical community, patients and their families, volunteers and donors. “You’ll see us participating in, and co-hosting, more community events, such as Health Fairs, Charity Walks, Blood Drives, and other new opportunities to connect,” Rusnak said. “We’ll also expand our informal, health-related information sessions on important health-related topics, offering our expertise to help others make informed decisions. These are exciting times and we are ready.”
