Route 66 Cruisin Reunion Entertainment Line-up Announced

ONTARIO, C.A.,-   The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion®, powered by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has announced the music entertainment line-up for the annual event September 18-20, 2015.   Kicking off Friday night on the main stage at Ontario Town Square will be Count’s 77, a hard rock band led by Danny “Count” Koker, star of History Channel’s hit series Counting Cars.   Just announced, household-name 70’s dance group, KC and The Sunshine Band, will help to celebrate the one year anniversary of Ontario Town Square by performing their top-selling, multi-platinum dance hits like “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and more as part of Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion.

Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is a family friendly annual event held on the third weekend in September.  It is free to the public and encompasses approximately twenty two city blocks with cars and hot rods parking and cruisin’ for three days along the streets of historic, tree-lined, Euclid Avenue and the downtown streets in the City of Ontario, California. About Count’s 77

Count’s 77, a hard rock band hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada is led by Danny “Count” Koker, star of HISTORY’S hit series “Counting Cars.” The band is further powered by Barry Barnes, Paul Disibio, Tommy Paris and the twin guitar team of John Zito and Stoney Curtis. The six powerhouse musicians attribute the 70’s genre specification to musical roots as diverse as Thin Lizzy, Foghat, The Allman Brothers and Led Zeppelin. Count’s 77 stands poised to be one of the leaders of the classic rock revival, bringing back the vibe of one of the best musical eras of all time.

Band member Danny Koker is the self-taught mechanic grew up in Cleveland and Detroit with family blood lines that gifted him with his stellar vocal stylings. Having grown up with his father (Daniel Koker Sr.) excelling as a musician, singer and composer it is no wonder that the talented vocalist followed in the same footsteps. Over the years his father worked alongside such legendary greats as the Foggy River Boys, The Cathedral Quartet, Oakridge Boys, CL Franklin, Mahalia Jackson and more. With such an inspirational role model at the helm of his education into the music industry, Koker was a natural- performing before audiences on-stage at Carnegie Hall from the tender age of 11.  As the owner of Count’s Kustoms, Danny Koker is the creative force behind each project leaving his Las Vegas-based hotrod and chopper shop. Heading into season four of his hit TV series “Counting Cars” on HISTORY, Koker splits his pastimes between his love of all things automotive and his passion for music.
