RTI Teaching Strategy Workshop Offered
“RTI—Response to Intervention” is a systematic, data-driven approach to instruction that has the potential to benefit every student. Elementary teachers, middle school language arts and reading teachers, and special education and support teachers will benefit from this new, one-day teaching strategy workshop offered by the College of Extended Learning at Cal State San Bernardino. Participants will learn how practicing RTI in the classroom will help promote the literacy of all students by targeting each student’s reading level, monitoring individual student progress, setting up a program that can be implemented in 20 minutes per day, and involving parents.
The “RTI—Response to Intervention” class will be held on Sat., March 17, from 8:30a.m.-5:30 p.m. in Cal State San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center. The fee is $140 per person and
