Rχ For Your Tax Bill
Workshop to cover federal and state tax credits that can help remedy this tax season

The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) is hosting a complimentary workshop on Tuesday, March 19 to help businesses take advantage of special federal and state tax credits available to them for this tax season and beyond. The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the city of Colton Council Chambers, 650 La Cadena Drive.

This “Rχ For Your Tax Bill” workshop will cover local enterprise zone, federal work opportunity and research and development (R&D) tax credits designed to help businesses lower tax liability and reduce their cost of business for positive hiring practices and pro-growth investments. Thousands of local businesses may easily qualify, so why leave money on the table?

The workshop’s speaker, Armando Jamjian, managing director of Encore Tax Consulting Group, will discuss how these tax credits work, how they can be applied to local businesses and how to file for them during this tax season.

Local business owners, accounting managers, human resource professionals and other decision makers are invited to attend. To register for the workshop contact Wendy Clements at 909.382.4538, or sbvezmanager@gmail.com

About the San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone
The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) is one of 40 existing enterprise zones established by the California Department of Housing and Community Development to encourage investment, growth, development and job creation in economically distressed areas of the state. The enterprise zone program grants employers tax credits and incentives for pro-growth business investments that improve economic activity within designated zone areas.

SBVEZ is located in Southern California and includes the city of Colton, city of San Bernardino and unincorporated portions of San Bernardino County.  In addition to the tax incentive it offers, SBVEZ also features a highly developed network of road, rail and air transportation infrastructure, a skilled and educated workforce, affordable commercial and residential real estate, and many other pro-business programs that make the area a highly competitive location for business.
