S.A.F.E. Offers Free “Be Safe Summer Series” for Southwest Riverside County

Riverside County, CA (July 1, 2013)–Safe Alternatives for Everyone will be offering The Be Safe Summer Series workshops to keep tweeners and teens safe on the internet, on social media and in dating!  These free classes will help parents and youth identify potential safety issues, learn skills to prevent them and more. The internet is a fabulous resource but can put your youth at risk as well. Come learn how to BE SAFE! First come first serve with limited space. RSVP is a must to hold your seat.

Classes for Parents/Guardians:

July 31st, 6:00pm-7:30pm, My Kid is Doing WHAT with WHO on the Internet? Law enforcement experts will inform you how to keep your kids safe from exposure to sexting, bullying, drug activity & sexual predators.

August 8th, 6:00pm-7:30pm, Is It Dating Drama or Trauma?  Parents will hear from experts how to recognize signs of teen dating violence and how to talk to your teen about it.

Class for Youth (ages 12-18)

August 1st , 6:00pm-7:30pm, The Good, Bad & Ugly of the Internet.  Learn to avoid being a victim of cyber bullying, sexting and inappropriate contact on the internet.
