Sales team exceeds manufacturer’s expectations in April
SAN BERNARDINO, CA – San Bernardino Mitsubishi hosted its grand opening Wednesday, May 11, marking the official re-launch of the renowned dealership that has recently returned to the San Bernardino Auto Mall.
The event was attended by County Supervisor Neil Derry, San Bernardino Mayor Patrick Morris, City Councilman Tobin Brinker and representatives from the offices of State Senator Bob Dutton and County Supervisor Josie Gonzales. Several proclamations recognizing the reopening were presented. Representatives from Mitsubishi’s national corporate office also attended.
“We want to thank all the local dignitaries and corporate members for attending and supporting this latest step in revitalizing the San Bernardino Auto Mall,” said owner Cliff Cummings. “We are thrilled to bring San Bernardino Mitsubishi back to it is original home, and even more thrilled that the dealership is already producing phenomenal performance numbers.”
San Bernardino Mitsubishi’s sales team has achieved a sales rate of more than 200 percent above the manufacturer’s expectations in April. As a result the dealership plans to add several new jobs to maintain this momentum.
“Mitsubishi is a well-loved brand in the Inland Empire and its return to the auto mall will help boost the local economy by adding jobs and sales tax,” said San Bernardino Mitsubishi General Manager Mike Graeber.
Cummings also announced the opening of a new Enterprise Rent-A-Car office at the auto mall.
