San Bernardino, Calif, May 16th, 2011: For the second consecutive year, GCF Events, the organizer of The Festival at the National Orange Show, is sponsoring a special Read-and-Ride program to encourage local students to read over the summer.

Any student kindergarten through 8th grade is eligible to read three books appropriate to the student’s reading level and approved by a parent or teacher. Students must completely fill out the official Read-and-Ride book report form with a brief summary of the book. In lieu of a summary, children age six and under are welcomed to draw pictures instead.

Students must bring the form, signed by a parent or teacher, to the guest services booth during The Festival at the National Orange Show May 26th-30th to redeem a maximum of three ride passes. Guest services booths open at 2 p.m. on Thursday & Friday and 12 p.m. Sat-Mon.

The official Read-and-Ride book report form can be accessed at www.nosfestival.com. For more information about the Festival at the National Orange Show, featuring safe and clean fun for the entire family, call (909) 888-6788 ext 462.
