San Bernardino: Vocalist Harry Thompson comes to National Orange Show

San Bernardino —Vocalist Harry Thompson brings his satin tones reminiscent of Luther Vandross to the National Orange Show Martin A. Matich Sports Center Amphitheater and Lounge for an evening of “Soulful Sounds” on Saturday, March 26, 2011.

The concert will feature Harry’s renditions of classics and R&B favorites such as “Superstar” performed by Luther Vandross, “Crazy” performed by Gnarls Barkley, “Let’s Chill” performed by Guy,  “What’s Going On” performed by Marvin Gaye, “For The Love Of You” performed by the Isley Brothers, and more.

Harry Thompson and his accompanying band under the direction of Les Butler performed during the National Orange Show’s Centennial Year Celebration early this year in February. “We were pleasantly surprised and completely impressed,” commented Amber Sommerville, Co-chair for the Centennial Celebration and Marketing and P.R. Coordinator at the National Orange Show Events Center. “The familiarity of the songs, the talent of the band, and Mr. Thompson’s incredible voice made for a riveting performance. Guests kept coming up to us during the evening and asking about the band.”

Tickets to the concert can be purchased in advance or at the door for $15 or two (2) for $25. Doors open at 8 p.m. For more information, call (866) 514-3391 or visit www.garrettmanagmentgroup.com
