SANBAG’s first General Assembly June 30

As President of San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt has called the first General Assembly of the council of governments and its member agencies — all of San Bernardino County’s 24 cities and all five county supervisors. The first-ever event, which is open to the public, will be held June 30 at the Maloof Foundation in Rancho Cucamonga.

Dario Frommer, Chairman of the California Transportation Commission, will be a special guest and will address those in attendance. The main feature of the event will be the final adoption of “The Vision,” a collaborative planning process involving the County, SANBAG, all 24 cities and numerous experts and the public to help inform and guide community leaders and officials.

The purpose of the event is to allow officials from the County, cities, businesses and the community to socialize, review the year’s accomplishments and look forward to next year.

The reception will be held at the Maloof Foundation in Rancho Cucamonga on June 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $50. For more information or to RSVP, call (949) 244-5946.
