Sandra Sisco Joins Team of the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire

Economic & Workforce Development Expert to Serve as Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships.

Inland Empire, CA – March 22, 2023: The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire is pleased to announce that Sandra Sisco will serve as the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships for the non-profit.

“I’ve worked with Sandra since 2009, or roughly 14 years, in her various roles with the community colleges. I look forward to partnering with her as we enter a rebuilding phase for the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire. The COVID pandemic adversely affected our in-person meetings, and also caused a great many of our industry contacts to retire or leave the industry,” Wallace Brithinee, the President of the Council, said.

“Sandra brings a great deal of talent and relevant knowledge of industry, the community colleges, workforce development, and economic development to our team. We will need that knowledge and talent as we make the organization grow, and as we expand our range of services.”

Sisco is a thought leader in economic and workforce development of the Inland Southern California region, having formerly served as Director at Chaffey College and Mt. San Antonio College, working on matters concerning workforce development and frequently connecting the dots between education and industry, frequently working with the Manufacturers Council. While at Chaffey College, she was particularly involved with securing additional grant funding the Industrial Technical Learning Center, also known as the InTech Center. This work culminated in formal recognition in 2019 as Woman of the Year in the 53rd District of California Assembly by Rep. Freddie Rodriguez.

Workforce Development is a key initiative of the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire, an industry group comprised of professionals, students, community members, and corporate leadership with interests in manufacturing and the economic vibrancy of Inland Southern California, and thereby the State and Country.

Sandra Sisco is Principal of Sisco Workforce Solutions. Sisco earned her Bachelors from University of La Verne and her Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University.
