SBDC Helps BMW Motorcycles of Riverside Beat Odds

New Business One Of The Most Successful Nationwide

After opening in April of 2010, BMW Motorcycles of Riverside has quickly grown to be one of the top BMW Motorcycle dealerships in the country. This quick climb up the ladder is extraordinary. Owner Dan Schoo attributes it to three things; a genuine passion for the business, lots of hard work and the help of the Small Business Development Center.

The Inland Empire Small Business Development Center provides business counseling and training for new businesses as well as existing businesses seeking to grow and expand. They can even assist an owner with financing making the dream of owning a business possible. That’s one way the SBDC helped Dan Schoo start his store. Schoo didn’t have the cash to start the business on his own. With the help of the SBDC financing and a well layed out business plan he was able to begin his dream store. Since then it has grown greatly and he has plans of possibly expanding in the future.

The Inland Empire SBDC provides over 240 training workshops to small business owners. Thanks to the support of federal funding and local matching funds, most of these programs are provided free or for a minimal fee. From writing business plans to setting up tax accounts, making permit arrangements, establishing international trade and developing marketing plans, the SBDC can help a small business start and grow as large as the imagination can take it.

BMW Motorcycles of Riverside sells high quality new and pre-owned BMW motorcycles along with riding gear, accessories and more. They are located on Indiana Avenue in Riverside.
