Seminar Briefs Managers about New Labor Laws

Finesse, CEA partner on workplace seminar

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (Jan. 12, 2010) –  Finesse Staffing, an Inland Empire-based staffing company, is hosting a free seminar to educate Human Resources managers about changes in employment law expected to go into effect in 2011.

The seminar, held in conjunction with the California Employers Association (CEA) will be held from 12 p.m.to 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, at the City of San Bernardino, Economic Development Agency, Office of Business Development, 201-B N. E Street, Suite 200, in San Bernardino.

The workshop will be taught by Stacy Rochelle, CEA regional director. CEA, a non-profit organization that serves more than 8,000 employers statewide, helps member companies maximize the performance of their employees and organizations through talent, tools and training.

Sarah Cullins, president of Finesse Staffing, said the workshop will go over new labor laws that will be enacted this year. “There are several new laws that affect both employers and employees. Managers are expected to know how to implement these new regulations,” she said. “This information will be extremely helpful and pertinent to all managers,  HR staff and administrators.”
