New labor laws reflect changing society, technology

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Finesse Staffing, an Inland Empire-based staffing company, is hosting a workshop that will focus on current labor laws and workplace evaluations from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Thursday, May 12. The workshop will be held at the City of San Bernardino Office of Economic Development, located at 201-B N. “E” Street, San Bernardino.

The workshop will be presented by Roger K. Crawford, a partner at Best, Best and Krieger, a business law firm based in Ontario, CA.  A graduate of Brigham Young University and the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Crawford specializes in labor and employment law.

The workshop is part of Finesse Staffing’s Quarterly Employer Training Session series, which provides free Human Resources training to the public.

“New technology and changes in society mean that labor laws are constantly being updated,” said Sarah Cullins, president of Finesse Staffing. “It is important that employers understand how these new laws can affect their company and employees.”
