Seminar offers free credit repair advice to local homebuyers

Inland Empire Economic Recovery Corporation helps first-time homebuyers and those hurt by foreclosure crisis boost their credit to qualify for home loans

WHAT: On March 2, the Inland Empire Economic Recovery Corporation will host a free seminar to teach local residents how to repair their credit and qualify to buy a home.

Petra Bujanda de McConnell, credit analyst with national credit repair company West Coast Credit Solutions, will provide information about credit restoration and offer tips on how to boost a potential homebuyer’s credit score to help them qualify for a loan. Bujanda de McConnell has more than 10 years experience in the mortgage industry helping clients repair their credit so they can obtain home loans.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with her one-on-one to discuss individual cases and gain advice on what steps they should take to recover from bad credit that is hindering their ability to buy a home.

The Inland Empire Economic Recovery Corporation is a non-profit public, private partnership that has charged itself with stabilizing Inland Empire neighborhoods and communities by preventing and reducing blight. Helping local residents qualify for home loans will assist the region’s ongoing recovery from the housing and credit crisis.
