Seniors:Registration is Open for the Fontana Regional Games

Fontana, Calif.–  Fontana residents, 55 years and better, can swim, bowl, throw or run their way to victory at the Fontana Regional Games. Participants can register at the Fontana Community Senior Center (16710 Ceres Ave) or online.

Hosted by the Fontana Community Senior Center and the City of Fontana Sports Division, the games begin Thursday, March 22, 2018 and end Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at various times and locations throughout Fontana. 

Events include:

  • Swimming: Thursday, March 22
  • Horseshoes: Friday, March 23
  • 5K/10K Walk or Run: Saturday, March 24
  • Hot Shot: Sunday, March 25
  • Softball Tournament: Tuesday, March 27
  • Bowling: Thursday, March 29
  • Billiards: Thursday, March 29
  • Tennis: Saturday, April 1

All events are free to participate; however, individuals must be a current Fontana Community Senior Center member to participate. In order to take part in the co-ed softball tournament, players must be a member of the Fontana Community Senior Center softball team. The Senior Center’s softball team will compete against other 55+ co-ed teams from across Southern California.

Participants that place first or second in their event/age category/gender will be invited to participate in the Inland Empire Senior Games in October 2018, hosted by the City of San Bernardino and City of Fontana.
