Moreno Valley Auto Mall and Moss Bros. Auto Group are proud to support the amazing seniors of Moreno Valley with eight scholarships and a new car for college
Moreno Valley, CA – After two weeks of competition, the Moreno Valley Auto Mall and Moss Bros. Auto Group are elated to announce the finalists for the Shop MoVal Scholarship and car. Alex Romero, Sheila Zepeda, David Anyakora, Jalen Long, Francisco Castellon, Alegria Nieto, Maria Bazan Urmeneta, Andrew Aceves, McKenna Esquivel, and Paulina Grijalva will represent their respective schools.
In total, $18,000 in new scholarship opportunities will be granted to nine students in the Moreno Valley Unified School District on May 23, 2018, in an awards presentation starting at 6:00 p.m.. Four $1,000 scholarships, four $500 scholarships, and one car for college will be awarded.
The Shop MoVal scholarship was open to graduating seniors of the class of 2018 at Moreno Valley High School, Canyon Springs High School, Valley View High School, and Vista del Lago High School. Two scholarships will be awarded per school with one overall student earning a car for college. Students vied for the scholarships by participating in a series of Instagram challenges at the Moreno Valley Auto Mall during the competition window. Students were encouraged to be creative and have fun while using the designated hashtags for the event which included #ShopMoval and #MorenoValleyAutoMall.
