Songs and Sunset in Fontana

Fontana, California (arts.fontana.org) – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to attend the two remaining concerts of this year’s Sunset Concert Series at the Miller Park Amphitheatre.

On August 5, catch Yari Moré, the west coast’s first artist to be signed to the largest tropical music label in the world, RMM, performing difficult salsa rhythms from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Then, as a grand finale of a summer full of songs and sunsets, don’t miss the Praise Rock Concert featuring various praise groups from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on August 12.

“Overall, we’ve heard good things about this year’s Series, from band selection to other activities,” Community Services Coordinator Nathan Hunt said.   “We’ve seen major growth in attendance … and appreciation of the music and features like the chalk artist collages.”

The Sunset Concert Series is a part of the Fontana Arts program, which focuses on enriching life through visual and performing arts events and activities in the Fontana Community. Don’t miss out on these free events for the whole family.  They are great avenues for entertainment, culture and fun.

For more information about these events and other events in the City, please visit arts.fontana.org or call (909) 349-6900.
