Redlands, CA—February 16, 2011—Guests at the Redlands Sunrise Rotary’s fifth annual New Orleans style Crab ‘N Jazz Celebration will have the chance to bid at both live and silent auctions on the most exotic and exciting items ever offered at this event. The event, which supports local youth and community activities, will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 5 p.m. in the garden pavilions at the Edwards Mansion.

“Thanks to the support of the local business community, we have a fabulous line-up of auction items set for Crab ‘N Jazz,” said Sunrise Rotarian Beth Sanders of Security Bank. “If you’re looking for great deals on anything from electronics to decorator items to incredible travel experiences, there are going to be some bargains at Crab ‘N Jazz.”
The live auctions at this year’s Crab ‘N Jazz will offer guests a chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime getaways including a Yangtze River China Cruise, a Venice to Rome Italy Tour, a Rails to Rim Grand Canyon Trip and, of course, a trip to New Orleans! The planning provided by Laura’s Travel of Redlands ensures a luxury travel experience.

Silent auctions will offer guests the chance to feel like a celebrity for a day with prizes including a limo ride to an LA Lakers game and an historic tour of Redlands with local musician Curtiss Allen in his 1905 Cadillac. Other silent auction offerings include a brand-new Apple iPad, the Wine Pairing 101 class from Time in a Bottle, a day at the horse races, dinner for ten at The Farm and lunch in Santa Barbara—complete with private plane ride!

Crab ‘N Jazz features an “All You Can Eat Alaska Crab Leg Dinner,” along with a beer tasting sponsored by Local Craft Brewers. Entertainment highlights include the comedy of Russ Skolnack AKA “Russ T. Nailz” and dancing to Stew Undem and his Jambalaya Stew Band. Event sponsors now include Albertsons, Collector Galleries, Citrograph Printing, Hangar 24 Brewery, Evans & Company Salon, Security Bank and The Redlands Daily Facts.

Event sponsorships with a variety of VIP event perks are also available. Event Chair, Chris Martin said, “We have lots of sponsorship opportunities that are designed to help small and large local companies promote themselves in Redlands.” Depending on the support level chosen, sponsors can receive event tickets with special seating, web and print advertising, program recognition and more.

Tickets are on sale now for this event, with only 350 available. Tickets are $75.00 per person, with tables for eight available for $600. Tickets now can be purchased at Citrograph Printing, Collector Galleries, Security Bank and from any Sunrise Rotarian.
