The Victor Valley Museum will offer family-friendly astronomy programs in the San Bernardino County Museum’s portable planetarium, StarLab, this Friday and Saturday, October 7 and 8. Twenty-minute shows will begin on the half hour on Friday from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The programs are included with paid admission.
“Our StarLab programs are a great introduction to the most accessible constellations,” said Brian Carr, Museum Education Assistant. “After our programs, visitors can watch the night sky, see the starts and constellations they learned here, and then continue looking for more.”
StarLab programs are best enjoyed by children age 4 and up and their families.
The Victor Valley Museum is at 11873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley. Admission is $5 (adult), $4 (senior or military), and $2.50 (student).
