Stacy Blackstone Honored By Inland Valley Recovery Services

UPLAND, Calif.Inland Valley Recovery Services in Upland recently honored the organization’s former Chief Executive Officer Stacy Blackstone for her longtime service as the leader of the addiction recovery institute.

Blackstone served as CEO for IVRS for 16 years before retiring in July 2016. During her tenure, the agency saw tremendous growth at its residential and outpatient facilities in Upland and San Bernardino.

IVRS has been providing substance use prevention, outreach, recovery and counseling services since 1962, reaching more than 10,000 individuals in 2016 alone with its vast array of services and resources.

Blackstone began working in the field of treatment for substance use disorders in 1989, dedicating her life to helping individuals overcome the debilitating effects of alcohol and drug abuse.

A licensed vocational nurse, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and a LAADC-CA alcohol and drug certification through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals.

Throughout her years at IVRS, Blackstone was active in the community as a member of San Bernardino County’s Association of Community Based Organizations and chair of its Alcohol and Other Drugs Sub-committee.
