Sponsored by the local ad club (American Advertising Federation Inland Empire), the workshop is being led by Will Sherwood, Chief Creative Officer, The Sherwood Group of Los Angeles.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Will Sherwood leading this workshop,” said Victoria Seitz, President of the Inland Empire chapter of the AAF. “He is a talented and well respected leader in our industry with many awards for graphic design.  I encourage all graphic design students to attend.”

The agenda for the workshop includes: The best thoughts for launching a successful career in graphic design; the best way to prepare for an interview; the best time and rules to start your own business, and how to overcome marketing challenges, according to Sherwood.

Sherwood won a silver medal in the annual ADDY (advertising) competition sponsored by the AAF.  He has also won over 300 awards for excellence in graphic design.  His work is in the Library of Congress permanent collection and he earned the highest honor from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Federal Design Excellence Award.
